* IMPORTANT UPDATE *
An Important message to our valued customers…
The Wyatt Violin Shop takes the COVID-19 crisis very seriously. We want to make the best decisions for our staff, our community and our customers. We are monitoring the latest recommendations from public health officials and our local government. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to close our shop until we are given the “Green Light” to reopen. Until that time, we will be updating you on the situation as it pertains to our reopening. Please see our Blog for updates.
PLEASE NOTE WVS TEMPORARY HOURS:
CLOSED to In-Store Customers
(Please feel free to ring us or email us with questions)
Out of an abundance of caution, we have decided to cancel all customer appointments for the next few weeks and close the shop.
We will still be working on ongoing restorations and other projects, but in order to maintain social distancing, we cannot have any exceptions to this policy for the safety of our community, clients, staff, and family.
Our family and many of your families have elderly members with whom we need to be especially cautious with Corona Virus or Flu exposure as we take care of their needs. Especially in this uncertain time (next few weeks). We hope you understand and ask that anyone that is sick, or has been around someone who is sick, to please take necessary precautions and please stay home!
We will remain in constant communications and will be answering emails and voice messages. We will be open again once it is deemed safe, and we look forward to seeing you then.
***As of 4/20/20, We are under Stay At Home Orders until MAY 15th***
We appreciate your understanding while we take these actions in the best interests of public health and look forward to getting back to our normal schedule.
Sincerely,
The Team at the Wyatt Violin Shop

Wyatt Violin Shop Protocols Update
The safety of our customers and our employees is of utmost importance to us. We want to assure our customers that we are taking the necessary steps to address any concerns associated with this outbreak.
We are open by appointment only T - Sat
Protocols concerning curbside pickup and in store service are as follows:
Curbside Pickup
Call us with your request and to schedule your pickup/drop off date and time. If appropriate, we will email you an invoice which you can pay online (or over the phone) in advance of your arrival.
Upon arrival, call the store at 816-252-5656. Let us know you are in the parking lot and what kind of car you have. A Wyatt Violins representative will come to your car to deliver or pickup your items. Our team member will be wearing facial covering and we respectfully ask that you do too. It is best if you pay any balances online beforehand to help minimize contact.
In Store Service
Call ahead to schedule an appointment. We have enhanced cleaning protocols in
place. Wyatt Violins representatives will wear facial coverings while working
with customers and we respectfully ask that customers do so as well. We request that employees and customers practice social distancing. All “In-Store” sales appointments usually require a few days for us to prepare for your visit. It is advised that we speak over the phone to assess your needs and help us prepare. We have only ONE trial room currently available and our storefront simply cannot accommodate more than one family (1-3 people) at a time…while still maintaining 6 ft and social distancing. We currently have a perfect setup in a corner of our back workshop that we can schedule an appointment with you for Sales or for Repair estimates that are best in person. We have hand sanitizer available and ask that you use it upon entry. We have increased the frequency of cleaning in our store with a special focus on high touch areas. During instrument trials, instruments will be cleaned between players.
We wish everyone health and peace during this challenging time.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Violin Shop
