A good violin by Hiroshi Kono, Japan 2018

Hiroshi Kono, Japan 2018

A tastefully antiqued instrument with a wonderfully expansive, complex warm tone. Very powerful projection for the strong player. These are very popular violins for advanced students and are available in smaller sizes by special order.  The label bears the Japanese Kanji, "美音" which translates as "Beautiful Sound." Crafted in Japan, imported by the Violin House of Weaver, known for powerful solo level violins for the highly skilled student or profession.

Many famous artists such as Joshua Bell, Robert Lipsett, and Michelle Kim own Hiroshi Kono violins.

They are patterned after the Guarneri Violin's slender body. Their sound quality is powerful, crisp, and responsive. Both warm and complex.
