ipe wood it is a Brazilian hardwood with about a hundred sub-species, Arcos Brasil has done the research to narrow it down to just a few sub-species with identical qualities to Pernambuco wood. The ipe bows are made with the best techniques, using traditional French methods for graduating and carving the sticks, and the outcome is a high-performance bow.

Our own bow workshop is located in the state of Espirito Santo, Brazil, a beautiful site 30 minutes from the Atlantic.
